MISZELLE Klaus Haacker: Rätsel um Maria. Überlegungen zu Lk 1,34 und 1,27; 2,5 (326-331) AUFSÄTZE Henning Wrogemann: „Wir glauben doch alle an denselben Gott …“ – wirklich? Zur Kritik einer Floskel am Beispiel Liebe Gottes in Koran und Neuem Testament (332-347) The dialogue-paper presented by the High Consistory of the Protestant Church in Baden in July 2018 is critically reviewed with regard to its inherent theology of religion. Based on an analysis of the theme of the love of God in both, the Qur‘an and the New Testament, it is shown that these two notions of God are incompatible, and that it is only possible to postulate their compatibility with the help of thought patterns which are based on convictions of religious pluralism. This approach is submitted to fundamental critique. The author raises the question what the task of church leadership can be with regard to questions in the field of theology of religion. Die EKD-Synode in Berlin-Weißensee 1958 (348–358) In April 1958 the curch council of the „Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland“ (EKD) sat in conference in Berlin-Weißensee. This conference was criticized and disturbed by political agitation of the „German Democratic Republic“. Also the main topic of the conference, “Church and education”, was a target of political propaganda which proclaimed, that education should be an exclusive duty of the state. In the theological discussion of this ideology the church council referred to the claim of the first commandment as a main criterion even in questions of education. – The “jubilee” of this education-conference of the EKD still evokes some urgent questions for today: Is the claim of the first commandment still named as a criterion of education in the face of the ideological situation of our time and society? Where do we have to remember this claim as a critical criterion for a christian view of the problems of our postmodern society?
